Recommended Posts

@gabrifili850 & @Moist

Please, each one of you create your own new Help thread.

In Malware Removal sub-forum, it is one to one help.  Not a group huddle.

Each person makes their own separate thread.

That way you get one to one help.

This thread here belongs to & is Reserved only just for the topic starter Johnvc.

Thanks in advance.   Each one of you will need to provide reports from your machine  ......   into your own separate Thread help topic.

Hi All,

I also just got warnings about this. Several scans and removes and it kept re-appearing. No idea what it is.

I then closed Chrome and checked what processes were running, my task manager (CTRL ALT Del then choose task manager), showed lots of Chrome processes. So I 'End Task' on each them (select it and at the bottom click End Task. Once they were all closed I re-ran Malware Bytes and it then found it and removed it, I then re-scanned and it found nothing. I then re-opened Chrome and re-scanned and nothing is being found now.

No idea what the thing is, but the above steps seem to get rid of it. As a precaution I'm also running a full viurs scan too.

Thanks  for the follow up Maurice. i found the solutions from the other forum users.

But your request for the reports creates a bit of suspicion on my part. I have seen the amount of confidential information in them, and

quite frankly, would never send it the anyone!  There is just way too much information in the scan report, IMO.

And your insisted request , raised even more flags on my part. You could be using that data for ANY number of projects.

I beleive the reports should focus on certain information related to virus's and malware, not all the extra information about the PC, the OS, Users, etc...

Just my opinion, no need to reply and tell me that you need all that info to perform an analysis.

Thanks again.
