Greetings,

You should be able to click in the date box and see a calendar pop up where you may select the starting date then fill in the time in the time field as shown below:

date.png.0fc5c4bca2266f035d869267f73318fe.png

If you aren't seeing the date pop-up then click Cancel and try adding your scheduled scan again to see if that alleviates the issue.  If it does not then please do the following so that we may take a look at what's going on with your Malwarebytes installation:

  1. Download and run the Malwarebytes Support Tool
  2. Accept the EULA and click Advanced tab on the left (not Start Repair)
  3. Click the Gather Logs button, and once it completes, attach the zip file it creates on your desktop to your next reply

Please let us know how it goes and if necessary, provide the requested ZIP archive.

Thanks

Excellent, I'm glad you were finally able to edit it, however that is odd that the Dashboard is showing 'None'.  What does your Scan Schedule tab show?  Is the scan you created listed there?  If so, please try right-clicking the Malwarebytes tray icon and selecting Quit Malwarebytes then click Yes if prompted by User Account Control and then open Malwarebytes again to see if the issue is resolved.  It may have been an issue with synchronization between the UI and config files after editing/adding your scheduled scan (though that would likely be a bug if that were the case).

If the issue still persists then please follow my previous instructions above for creating/posting the Malwarebytes Support Tool diagnostic ZIP archive so that we may take a look at your installation and settings to determine what might be causing the issue.

The tray icon is the Malwarebytes icon located near the clock on the taskbar at the lower right (it may be hidden; you'll find info on how to display hidden icons in this article).

Try exiting Malwarebytes and then launching it again, or you may try restarting your system (just make sure that fast startup is disabled, otherwise it may not work as expected; you can find info on fast startup and how to disable it here as well as here).

  • tetonbob changed the title to Malwarebytes Premium - scheduled scan

OK, good.  I guess it just needed to refresh once the scheduler was up and running and processed the scan.

I'll still be reporting the GUI bug where it showed 'None' after you created the scheduled scan in case QA can replicate the problem so that the Devs can hopefully fix it so that the UI stays in sync with the scheduler.

Hi @Don12,

Thanks for reporting the issue.

I was able to add a new schedule and now get the calendar popup. Unfortunately next scheduled scan says 'None'.

Please clarify the steps you took leading up to this.

Did you delete the scheduled scan depicted in your first original post and then create a new one? Or did you continue to edit the same scan?
After you inputted the starting date/time, did you immediately click OK? From this point, what did you click next?
