mc42 Posted August 7, 2009 ID:107214 Share Posted August 7, 2009 Is the latest version of adobe reader considered secure? Or is Foxit Reader thought to be safer to use? Thanks
Tarun Posted August 7, 2009 ID:107263 Share Posted August 7, 2009 I recommend Foxit. Faster, lighter, just works better overall.
Night_Raven Posted August 7, 2009 ID:107265 Share Posted August 7, 2009 Sumatra PDF is another PDF reader. Even simpler than Foxit. For people who want maximum speed.
DaChew Posted August 7, 2009 ID:107273 Share Posted August 7, 2009 Watchout for the addon/plugins with Foxithttp://www.foxitsoftware.com/pdf/reader/download.phpThe msi package is prefered if you don't want to have to disable yet another toolbar
Root Admin AdvancedSetup Posted August 7, 2009 Root Admin ID:107286 Share Posted August 7, 2009 A lot really depends on your needs. All of these are implementations of the free source code and I've tested many of them and so far none of them can compare to the original Adobe Acrobat Reader when it comes to hi quality graphics printing.
