Manipulated post counts are an issue on nearly every forum on the net and i have never been happy with that situation. However, Malwarebytes has shown it's appreciation to me in other ways. Not many forums do that.

The prompt is not just from Malwarebytes, UAC prompt is normal with Win Vista and Win 7. Yes download dot com is part of Cnet and a legitimate site.

When MBAM blocks a site just right click on the icon and select "add to ignore list", it will not block it after that. Easier and safer than disabling the protection module. However, when MBAM blocks a site you need to be careful.

Or perhaps we are being "played"?

I have had issues with WOT. eg, some members red listed my ISP and phone/tv provider's newsletter! "Telus Currents" I queried that on the WOT forum and got only some fanbois making lame excuses and trying to slag me, they never checked and delisted it either. I mean, come on people, Telus is a huge corporation and i doubt that they would have a monthly "dangerous" newsletter problem for over a year.
