  1. The debbil made me do it Sam, Wayne
  2. Nearly all security professionals will tell you that any browser has vulnerabilities. Chrome was the first to be exploited in the most recent tests. That does not mean that it is not safe, just that none are completely safe regardless of sandbox. Not to disrespect him but i believe that your friend is underinformed regarding web security. One's browsing habits play a huge part in safety. Personally i use MBAM pro and MSE together with Firefox and noscript as my security suite and would bet money that it is much safer than Chrome alone. Oops, sorry, edited to add that i very much recommend that you take David's advice.
  3. Many threads about this if you search, http://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?showtopic=106365&st=0&p=530009&hl=which%20anti%20virus%20best&fromsearch=1entry530009
  4. I remember that we never even got any credit till now, time to talk about reparations or residuals
  5. Yes i have been following Bering sea gold Steve. Waiting for episode 4 now. That is a much more realistic show than goldrush but they add lots of drama of course. Not a new thing, they have been working the Nome beaches forever and dredging has been going on for quite a few years.
  6. Do many of those "walkers" have gold teeth? I might hunt em........
  7. And a hissing or growling/yowling Cat is always seriously dangerous, us old married guys know that

  9. Me too Mona, i'm 10 years older than you, you lucky lady, just imagine how Steve feels, he is way older than us!
  10. I use Google earth occasionally and am always perturbed to find an extra 2-300 MGs in my browser cache but i guess comes with the territory. Great program, if you live in a city you can about see a stray dime on your doorstep but in many rural areas your home is merely a blurred item among other blurs.
  11. My search at ZDnet returned nothing about them.........
  12. Or perhaps he saw what you posted http://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?showtopic=105240
  13. Another flag for me is that the OP, a new member, made only one post and has not interacted with this thread in over a week.
  14. Honestly, i do not trust Cnet and a few others. What does it take for them to host a product? Testing on their part? I doubt that as they have had failed or questionable applications available for download on their site. Iobit is still there and highly rated. Now sadly, i believe "someone" is attempting to use THIS forum to promote a new and IMO unproven product that i cannot find what i would consider legit reviews on other than their own. Oops! Edited to add..... I found one review i trust. BornSlippy's.

  16. Twisted parables could go viral, do it! How's your voice over? Jack who? Is he the guy who plays fiddle Steve? No wait, that's Charlie I prefer Glen Livet, smooth guy, he makes em all Queens at closing time Wayne
  17. Hello jasonjm, welcome to Malwarebytes. The pro (paid version) of Malwarebytes does update itself, subject to user configuration. The free version does not. Regards
  18. Good thing we don't live close together
  19. Not to an ol' Tomcat like Steve or me
