  1. Yes they can be super annoying Cute outside but not so cute in your house sometimes, especially if a lot congregate in the corners, on the ceiling, etc... lol
  2. Oh, they're in the Bon Jovi song, It's My Life. The quote in my signature is part of the lyrics to that song I am not quite sure who it is representative of though.
  3. Thanks Sho-dan. I knew version 10 was most current but I didn't know what the most current sub number was
  4. That's good I just wanted to make sure you had the most current version. If you want to go ahead, add the exclusions, but it shouldn't be necessary. At least not last I knew.
  5. That sure does look like the place What version of Avira are you using?
  6. I really don't think you need them. I asked around this forum when picking out a free AV for that machine I mentioned, and one of the reasons I chose Avira was because it gets along beautifully with Mbam The other being it's excellent heuristics and being a great AV.
  7. Avira actually usually doesn't need any exclusions entered at all Are you using the AV or the Avira Internet Security Suite w/ firewall? I've have Avira on a machine that I look after and I can't recall a place to enter exclusions but there probably is one. Have you looked? Should be a place to enter or add excluded files, programs, something like that.
  8. Maybe? I don't even know if it's possible. Kaspersky gave me the idea; when I plug in my iPod, camera, and flash drives, Kaspersky pops up asking me if I would like to scan the drive, scan only infect-able file types, or to not scan the drive. I just think it's a nice feature, and would be a good addition to Malwarbytes if possible.
  9. Would it be possible to incorporate a feature in the paid version where Mbam prompts the user to scan their flash drive or removable drive when they plug it into the computer? I don't mean to automatically to scan it, just a prompt asking the user if they'd like to scan it.
  10. You're most welcome! We're always happy to help. If you need anything else, or have any other questions feel free to post! Good luck and I hope you find something that works very well for you!
  11. @Colonel Mortimer I like Avira as an excellent free option or MSE. Avast! would also be a good choice. The following are my recommendations for antivirus protection along with links to downloads for them. Avira Antivir (free for home use) The official support forum for this product can be found here Microsoft Security Essentials (free for home use) The official support forum for this product can be found here Avast! (free for home use) The official support forum for this product can be found here Note: If you decide to use one of the trial versions of one of the paid antiviruses then you will either need to purchase it or uninstall it completely and install a replacement antivirus before the trial expires so that your PC is not left unprotected. MSE Downloads: MSE for XP 32 bit MSE for Vista and Windows 7 32 bit MSE for Vista and Windows 7 64 bit Definitions Installers: Note: if installing the definitions in Windows Vista or Windows 7 you MUST right click the definitions installer and select Run as administrator and click Continue at the User Account Control prompt. 32 bit Definitions Installer 64 bit Definitions Installer Instructions for adding exclusions to MSE for Mbam: http://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?a...&pid=181018 Exclusions should be added to Avast! for Mbam as well if you go with that one. http://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?s...ost&p=49525 Avira shouldn't need any exclusions - they typically get along beautifully without any, but again, it doesn't hurt.
