  1. Well said, here here Mbam staff
  2. They are really all my least favorite, they're all nasty! However the ones that come with rootkits and trojans and the like are definitely the worst, in terms of system security comprimisation (I don't think that's actually a word lol) and they are also the most difficult to remove it seems.
  3. Well here is my input (& opinion) on that, Wildman. Personally I would not go ahead and copy an entire album/CD for someone I know. I don't think that's right for two reasons; 1) the artists rights, that is not fair to them and 2) I paid for it, why would I give away a copy? Now if you are making a small mix CD for someone you know as a gift or to use at a party that has some songs from different albums, and as long as you aren't selling that CD(s), I think that that would be okay. (If not, someone please enlighten me )
  4. They are both an excellent choice
  5. We have a dern alarm clock that for some reason is still stuck on the old schedule; it changes itself twice a year a couple weeks too early or late... It's nice that it changes itself but it does not change on the correct date anymore
  6. Hi Kayiron13, and Welcome to Malwarebytes! If you feel you are still infected see the instructions below..... Please read the following so that you can begin the cleaning process: As we don't deal with malware removal in the General Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware Forum, you need to start a topic in the Malware Removal forum so a qualified helper can help you fix any malware related problems/infections you may have. Please read and follow the directions here, skipping any steps you are unable to complete. Then post a NEW topic here. After posting your new post, make sure under options, you select Track this topic and choose Immediate Email Notification, so that you're alerted when someone has replied to your post. One of the expert helpers there will give you one-on-one assistance when one becomes available. Please refrain from making any further changes to your computer (Install/Uninstall programs, use special fix tools, delete files, edit the registry, etc...) unless advised by a malware removal helper. Doing so can result in system changes which may hinder the attempts by a helper to clean your machine. NOTE: Please DO NOT post back to (bump) your topic within the first 48 hours. Replying to your own posts changes the post count and helpers are looking for topics with zero replies. If you reply to your own post helpers may think that you're already being helped and thus overlook your post. If there is no reply from any experts after 48 hours, you can reply to the topic, asking for help again. Or You may send a Private Message to a Moderator asking for assistance. Alternatively, as a paying customer, you can contact the help desk at support@malwarebytes.org or here. Please be patient, someone will assist you as soon as it is possible. PS: Please use the "ADDREPLY" button instead of other ones when you start replying.
  7. That's pretty cool Buttons Exile, that is schweeeettt!! I hope you can find one sometime
  8. Thanks Sho-Dan, looks like that explains that!! I'll read that later on, looks very interesting
  9. Thanks for the enlightenment! I'm sticking to that it's a planet though; I learned this song when I was 6 to remember the planets and their order and its just not complete without Pluto, lol
  10. Eh, I just dealt with it. It opened up TWO screens each time I hit save to tell me it was unsafe. Super annoying.
  11. That's cool. I'm trying to think of a cool fact but I am failing at the moment. For now, I don't get why Pluto is no longer classified as a planet Granted I've never much looked into/researched it, but I still consider it to be a planet.
  12. This probably explains why IE was throwing up warnings at me yesterday for a site that I have to use at work and half the time I have to use IE for... and I know it's safe. It was very annoying, so I switched to FX as soon as I could.
  13. It's Dilbert It doesn't always make sense, at least not always to me.
  14. I agree w/ Exile & everyone that agreed with him; Malwarebytes has excellent heuristics!
  15. You should never have more than one anti-virus program installed at a time. They can conflict and cause system freezes, lock-ups, and having more than one can even lower your system security. Choose one, uninstall the other one.

  17. hehe that's cute. I first saw that picture maybe like 5-6 years ago, my friend had it as her user icon to logon to the computer. I don't think I've seen it full-sized yet though.
