  1. I was wondering if anyone could recommend to me a brand and/or where to buy a keyboard that is as silent as possible when typing? I am looking to replace this one... apparently its too noisy in the morning/late at night when I use it (I shouldn't be up that late anyway but you know lol) Its a Dell computer, I don't know if that makes any difference or not.
  2. Thanks Steven. Yep, IP protection is always enabled That's too bad I hope Mozilla is able to move, if it is infact from the page itself. Guess I had better not look around the Mozilla pages when I am using a computer that doesn't have Mbam on it (aside from downloading Firefox for someone)
  3. Thanks for checking this out Steven. I don't see what other sites reside on it (on the hpHosts link you gave me), but I don't doubt you at all of course. Probably a silly question, but, have you tried contacting them (the IP provider, that is)? And I wonder if Mozilla is aware of this, you'd think they'd want to move away from this... Oh, and do you think it would still be safe to surf around the Mozilla sites, after all, I have mbam to block any bad IP's. ?
  4. Hmm. Is it still happening? It must be a bug. I didn't see any advertisements either, so that can't be it. by the way, what is the cute fishy icon in your taskbar?
  5. mm yes Chimpy Firefox, sounds like a very interesting snack
  6. I have a few: pretzels, baked chips, regular chips, tortilla chips, blue corn chips. I also like Smart Puffs, they are so good.
  7. Not sure if I should post my reply here or not, but, just wanted to say, I can go to the page just fine, no IP blocks or anything. Running XP SP3
  8. @ QuizMaster It's official now http://www.malwarebytes.org/forums/index.p...st&p=147605
  9. Awesome news Marcin! And pretty speedy too I might add.
  10. I can't even seem to find that folder, I'll keep hunting. @ Firefox Yeah, I use ATF cleaner whenever I use my computer (usually just once each day) and CCleaner once in a while I like to clear up space and clean up temp files.
  11. @ mona7865 and Jacktivity I'm going to check mine soon too now That's an interesting place for a computer to put them, heh. Sounds like temp files stored there are more likely than not harmless.
  12. I'd also like to add, if I may, that Firefox 3.0.13 has had a security and stability update to 3.0.14, while in Firefox go to help > check for updates to update your browser Version 3 will be supported with security and stability updates until January 2010, after that users should update to version 3.5 of Firefox to have the most secure version of Firefox.
  13. awww that's a great story SrTools. May I pass it along?
  14. Hey, sorry to be a bit late Diazafan, You are very welcome! Spyware blaster is a cool program. I've installed it on the computers of friends and family, and they like it too. I also use Spybot Search & Destroy for its immunization feature. I can give you the link to that too if you'd like Hope all is well with your computer, and do not hesitate to post if you have any other questions or concerns about anything. Thank you, and you take care too!
  15. @ Nosirrah That's pretty cool I didn't know the second part.
  16. woohoo I'm a fan too (and I stay far, far away from them Facebook applications, haha)
  17. To Jacktivity and Firefox: Mbam is updating just fine now! (Had to have been Comodo, hehe) The quickscan was clean, woohoo! Thanks for your help Jacktivity: No viruses were found, so of course no conflict with Windows Defender
  18. He said it didn't come with a CD. :/ Uhm, how could I find out if it burns CD's or not?
  19. Oh sweet, will do as soon as possible Exile. Uhmmm I don't think the computer burns CD's, though He got a bare bones model, but maybe you know a way around that
  20. @ Exile Dell 2005 or 2006, maybe 2004 or 2003. Aw heck I'll ask as soon as I have a chance. I think 2005 or 2006 though.
  21. True Yardbird. I mainly use Hulu for episodes of House. Or Secret Life of the American Teenager (lol I know) that I miss on TV. I prefer watching shows on an actual TV too
  22. Thanks Jacktivity Nothing has been detected so far. Comodo installation went well I deleted some orphan folders and all seems to be well
  23. Hi Jacktivity Thanks for responding Well, at the time Comodo wasn't running in the background, at last not as far as I could see, when I was trying to update Mbam. Do you know if when running the antivirus scanner from Kaspersky, should I disable Windows Defender? If so, do you know how to do it? I meant to ask Exile, but I forgot. He didn't mention anything about it so I assume I don't need to worry about it. I just don't' want any conflicts in removal in case it does detect anything. Reading around the forum, I have seen that sometimes windows defender can interfere with removal of the nasties. If you aren't sure what Kaspersky tool I mean, heres the link: http://devbuilds.kaspersky-labs.com/devbuilds/AVPTool/
  24. @ Firefox Just checked, that's not the problem, they aren't on work offline. Thank you though @ Jacktivity, since I see you are reading this, this is the computer that you and Mystery were trying to help me with with the Comodo internet security.
