Are there any reputable third party cleaners that aren't rogue software or is deleting manually the best option? privatetimm Posted November 6, 2012 Author ID:610096 Share Posted November 6, 2012 Sorry to resurrect this topic, but I have a follow-up question about *.dat files.I've been using CCleaner and love it, but someone told me that the NTUSER.dat file contains browsing information so I need to delete it too, not just the index.dat files.
