IMON Posted January 29, 2010 ID:191202 Share Posted January 29, 2010 Hi AllAs the family geek I've now used Malwarebytes three times in the last couple of months to sort out 'nasties' on family members computers.Excellent products & very informative & well laid out forum. Only yesterday I was able to talk my elderly farther-in-law through a complete cleanup operation which included safe-mode startup, Malwarebytes download & install, dealing with a error code 732 (it was his IE settings) & finally a successful scan etc. All done over the phone, at a distance of 200 miles apart (Which is considered 'vast' here in the UK!)So thought it was time I joined the forum, even if just to lurk, read & soak up all this useful info.
