New Malware Platinumantivir.net

Recommended Posts

My system is infected with Platinumantivir.net. Could someone please write how to rectify this.My Internet explorer is not working.

I can get Firefox up and running.

I am getting constant security alerts. Windows asks me whether I want to scan/activate, and I have said yes several times, and I've been scanned, but that seems to produce nothing. "Activate" seems to mean buying something from a place called Antivirus Live (http://platinumantivir.net=59.4), but I know this is virus

The alerts tell me that wuauclt.exe is infected; thunderb... something is infected; something beginning regsvr32... is infected -- and I don't know what else. I have no idea how to clean those.I get to their toolbar when I agree to "activate," but there's nothing for me to do there but buy from Antivirus Live.

It routes to

www.viagra.com

www.adult.com

www.porno.org

No other site is working for IE. and all other dll and .exe files also can not be executed. So I could not run Malwarebytes, which I installed it from firefox.

I have Malwarebytes 1.42 Version. But as all exe files are corrupted by that virus I could not run this scan.

I've got Firefox, and I can surf, although I have to keep clicking off the little popping warnings. And I'm getting a pron site

and something for erectile dysfunction.

all products are not working except Firfox..Can Malware team help to fix it up.

Please don't give out such advice. An infected computer that boots is easier to fix than one that cannot boot. Many helpers do not want you to turn off system restore.

You really should follow the advice below.

Seriously, to both of you that have posted here with this infection, as well as anyone else reading this... PLEASE follow the directions given by AdvancedSetup. Your computer is most likely NOT clean.
