Also, even if the setting under General -> Update threat intelligence is set to the default 1 hour, this does not guarantee a Database Update will occur every hour, as there might not be a new database available yet.

Sometimes there is no database update for half a day ... I guess you guy´s have to go to bed as well :-)

Yes it had been more than 1 hour since I turned on my PC and the manual update worked.  Thanks for the explanation about updates.  Will continue to monitor it.
