4k writing speed AS ssd tool

After the update 1.0.793 package the 4k writing from ssd benchmark is at half speed.

With the new update when the benchmark test the 4k writing speed of ssd, the files that the test  create is constantly scanned by malware-bytes service and that cost the half speed of the drive.

This problem dont exist in previous version and if i close the malware-bytes.

In the photo i attached for example, the speed is 53 mb/s, if i close the malware bytes the 4k writing speed is 96 mb/s

I dont even bother with diagnostic tool because i tested 4 different ssd controllers(with drma and dramless) in 3 different pcs with same result.

How does it do with no browsers or other programs loaded?

How does it do with ransomware protection off and the others on?

Please try disabling Ransomware Protection and retest. If that does not correct then try disabling the other modules, one-by-one and see which one may be the root cause and let us know your results please.

The problem is the ransomware protection.

With ransomware disabled:

The same results exist with uefi computer and in old mbr legacy computer.

I tested ssds: kinston v300, kingston suv500, apacer as340, patriot burst with same results.

Yes, that is/was thoughts. Due to how we monitor any program making multiple calls which can potentially be an active encryption trying to run. Try adding the program to exclusions and see if that corrects it.

So something changed in ransomware from the latest stable because this behavior dont exist.

The pattern  for a program must it analyzed for a few second it seems that a program that makes multiple calls, analyzed forever.

examples:

Macrium reflect backup.

Hibernation with big ram.

And in all ssds the speed is the half even for the slow kingston v300 with 30mb speed 4k writing with ransomware is 15mb/s.

What about ssd in pcie that have speeds 2000 mb/s i dont have them to test.

for testing purpose the exclusion corrects it.

Yes, the engine for MB4 has changed quite a bit since version 3 and now detects and protects better. For the purposes of your benchmark tool I would recommend you keep it excluded to prevent such slow downs.
