Need to raise support ticket

Hi all.

 

My cdrive expired & MWB went down with it.  So need to alert Support to reactivate me on my replacement cdrive as unable to uninstall as old cdrive is d-e-a-d.

 

Can you guys drop the link to the "Raise a home-use Support ticket'.

If you haven’t already done so, please run the Malwarebytes Support Tool and then attach the logs in your next reply:

  1. Download Malwarebytes Support Tool
  2. Once the file is downloaded, open your Downloads folder/location of the downloaded file
  3. Double-click mb-support-X.X.X.XXXX.exe to run the program
    • You may be prompted by User Account Control (UAC) to allow changes to be made to your computer. Click Yes to consent.
  4. Place a checkmark next to Accept License Agreement and click Next
  5. You will be presented with a page stating, "Get Started!"
  6. Click the Advanced tab

  8. A progress bar will appear and the program will proceed with getting logs from your computer

  9. Upon completion, click a file named mbst-grab-results.zip will be saved to your Desktop. Click OK

If you mean the Retail version of our product that was sold on CD. The good news is that you don't need that. You can simply download the latest installer from the link below and install the program. If you have any issues getting it activated let us know.

Thanks for replying.  I bought MWB when it was a lifetime lic.   This has happened a few times over the years.  What's happened in the past is I need to log a support ticket & they re-activate the lic.  At the moment the lic wont activate.  when I loaded this morning & added key & ID it said I already had an activated copy ( the one on the dead cdrive).

Greetings,

You should be able to manage your license using the new My Account feature by creating an account at My.Malwarebytes.com.  You'll find instructions on how to do so in this support article and additional info on how to manage your license can be found in this support article as well as this support article (I recommend trying the Deactivate all function as that usually does the job for freeing up a lifetime license from a previous system/installation) and if necessary, you may contact Malwarebytes Support and they can deactivate the old installation for you as they did before.  To do so simply fill out the form on the bottom of this page and they will assist you.

oh-oh.   i've changed internet providers and the lic. info was registered against the old email acct which is now defunct.   Don't recall the password tried plenty but no go.  And forgot password is useless as the email is long gone.

Our other lic. is registered against current email but it wont let me bring the original lic across.
