MBam 3.2.2.2018 w 1.0.2686 flagging storage.googleapis.com

I used Feedly for my RSS reader. Using the web version here and up until today when I updated to 3.2.2 of MBAM I had no problem. Now when I go to my Feedly feeds which are stored in my Google account MBAM blocks access to storage.googleapis.com

I'm having the same problem, but there's more. I tried adding storage.googleapis.com to the exclusions list, and Malwarebytes locks up.

Windows 7, 64 bit.

Latest Malwarebytes Premium version.

SIgh ya exclusions in MBAM seem to be half baked. Seems I was using MBAM 2.x for years and never had all these issues as the 3.x builds have had. I don't know if this Googleapis.com is a definition issue but I sure hope it is. If its not I will be reverting back to an older version of MBAM. I use Feedly on multiple systems here.

I made an account literally just to say I'm having the same problem. Oddly enough it's ONLY on the shopping cart section of amazon. I'm using version 3.1.2 however. The frequent popup notifications scared me to the point that I thought I had a virus.

Ok so seems perhaps this is a deifinition issue. Perhaps a false positive in code being used on multiple web services.

Popped up for me in a google support page as well as on a game I play that is known to use googleapis. It seems like it's a false positive to me, but hopefully a MWB employee can clarify soon.

It's more than a couple of minutes and I am still getting this false positive when trying to access my Google Administrator account using Chrome. Kindly let us know when the fix has been posted, I have already updated the update database.

Hi,

I have heaps of tabs open in chrome so couldn't begin to guess which one is causing a problem, especially since ALL of them were open yesterday and caused no problems whatsoever.  Now I almost constantly have a popup about blocking storage.googleapis.com.  As soon as I click ok it pops right back up again. It's so incessant that I almost couldn't submit my reply because the popup was always in the way of the button. Please let me know what to do...

This has been resolved with the following DB versions (depending what MBAM version you are running)

MBAM2 Version: v2017.08.30.08
MBAM3 Version: 1.0.2690

Please ensure you have the latest updates.

I'm still having this issue MBAM 3 DB 1.0.2692.

However, it is now coming from a different IP address: 172.217.5.80

EDIT: Also coming from IP addresses 216.58.193.208 and 172.217.4.176

Appears to go back and forth between the addresses even on the same page.

It appears my MBAM has just updated to 1.0.2693 and I am no longer getting the error so far!
