Windows 10 update stops updating

I'm updating Window 10. Windows 10 Insider Preview 15063 gets stuck at "Downloading Updates 8%". 

I've turned off all the features of MWB, then rebooted my laptop. Now Windows 10 is updating.

Is there an easier way to "Disable Malwarebytes" prior to updating Windows?

Had to say what is going on with insider previews...

That being said, you can just EXIT out of Malwarebytes and see if that helps... (right click system tray icon and choose EXIT)

Could be associated with this bug in Windows Update

"If your PC fails to install this build [15063] on reboot with the error 8024a112, reboot manually again. If your PC appears to hang during the reboot, power your PC off and back on and the install will proceed."

It does not look like I have an Exit option in the System Tray menu options.  I have Quit Malwarebytes.  But does this actually shut down MWB so the update can occur?

As for the Windows bug reply above. Yea, that's a possibility, but I rebooted and did a complete shutdown a couple times.  

All previous Insider updates went in perfectly and not one hitch.  This is the first time.

Quitting it will stop it until the next restart.  But the best thing to do is deactivate Malwarebytes then Uninstall it.  Then run the Windows 10 upgrade and after successful installation, re-install Malwarebytes.

As a general rule, it is a good idea to uninstall any third party security app prior to a Windows upgrade, or at the very least, disable all its real time protection.

Hmmm. I'll then need to redownload the install file after the W10 update. 

Ill save a copy of all license info before removing the program. Thanks.

Make sure you deactivate your licence before uninstalling
