Malwarebytes wont open!

Recommended Posts

Hi. I am having many problems with my computer at the moment which i am positive is because of a virus i picked up while trying to download a TV series. No i don't have any illegal programs like utorrent or other software. After downloading this file i could clearly tell it was just a bunch of infected files. So i ran a quick malware test on malwarebytes and it pick  up at least 25 virus/.So i rebooted the computer and opened googlechome and noticed that i had this webpage  called websearchers a very dodgy webpage so i clicked on Malware bytes to run a full scan but to my surprise windows help said that it was corrupted. So i tried to re-install. while it was doing that all these error codes were popping up on my screen. I think it was a runtime error or something like that anyways after it was downloaded it still would not load because windows said it was a damaged file. So i had a look in all the system C files and there were alot of suspicious files that were created on the day of which i download the file. But i think they clean because i scanned them with avast and it said they were clean but when i tried to deleted it said i needed admin permission even tho i am a admin? but i cant look in system32 files because when i do my laptop instanlty freezes. So i booted up safe mode. Didn't work because it wouldn't load. so then i had a look on youtube about it and found out about malwarebytes chameleon tried that. Got to a certain scanning point in the sysyem32 files  then it just terminated itself. Thats all i got so far help would be appreciated. And i forgot to mention i did a scan with avast just before and it picked up like 3 virus 2 were terminated but the other one couldn't be and it was a rootkit virus?

Hello,

They call me TwinHeadedEagle around here, and I'll be working with you.

Before we start please read and note the following:

icon_arrow.gif Limit your internet access to posting here, some infections just wait to steal typed-in passwords.
icon_arrow.gif Please be patient. I know it is frustrating when your PC isn't working properly, but malware removal takes time.
icon_arrow.gif Don't run any scripts or tools on your own, unsupervised usage may cause more harm than good.
icon_arrow.gif Do not paste the logs in your posts, attachments make my work easier. There is a Attach Files option below which you can use to attach your reports. Always attach reports from all tools.
icon_arrow.gif Stay with me to the end, the absence of symptoms doesn't mean that your machine is fully operational.
icon_arrow.gif Note that we may live in totally different time zones, what may cause some delays between answers.
icon_arrow.gif Do not ask for help for your business PC. Companies are making revenue via computers, so it is good thing to pay someone to repair it.
icon_arrow.gif If I don't hear from you within 3 days from this initial or any subsequent post, then this thread will be closed.

icon_idea.gif I can't foresee everything, so if anything unexpected happens, please stop and inform me!
icon_idea.gif There are no silly questions. Never be afraid to ask if in doubt!

Only one of them will run on your system, that will be the right version.

To be honest im 80% sure my computer is clean. I scanned with avast again and picked up nothing. I did read the virus that it picked up previously and they looked pretty serious

I Had:

Win32:Malware-gen

Win32:Adware-gen

Win32:Rootkit-gen

Win32:Downloader-TRK(Adw)

(all on the same date)

Im guessing there dangerous virus's and i have noticed before that advast never picks up virus like malwarebytes so there could possible be malware lurking but honestly i think that these virus have permanently stopped malwarebytes from functioning
