  1. TwinHeadedEagle's post in Part of Malwarebytes' own files is getting detected as a PUP was marked as the answer
    Hi,
This is a part of rootkit scanning. Not FP. Try to do a scan with rootkit scan off. It is under Settings > Security > Scan for Rootkits.

Fix with Farbar Recovery Scan Tool

This fix was created for this user for use on that particular machine.

Running it on another one may cause damage and render the system unstable.
Download attached fixlist.txt file and save it to the Desktop:
Both files, FRST and fixlist.txt have to be in the same location or the fix will not work!

Right-click on icon and select Run as Administrator to start the tool.
(XP users click run after receipt of Windows Security Warning - Open File). Press the Fix button just once and wait. If for some reason the tool needs a restart, please make sure you let the system restart normally. After that let the tool complete its run. When finished FRST will generate a log on the Desktop, called Fixlog.txt.
Please upload it to your reply.
    fixlist.txt

    Download FRST from this link:
    http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/farbar-recovery-scan-tool/
Download attached Filxist.txt, it has to be at the same location as FRST tool, you can move them both to the Desktop.
Start FRST and click Fix. Allow reboot.
Attach Fixlog.txt and Date|Time ZIP archive found on your desktop in your next reply.
    Fixlist.txt

    Hi,
    This was a false positive.
Fix is out in 1.0.40648 database update.

You should restore those from quarantine.
  6. TwinHeadedEagle's post in Possible False-positive on system files? was marked as the answer
    Hi,
This is an FP database that should fix should be out in less than 20 minutes. Just cancel the current scan and do not quarantine.

@Shvanf Did you do as instructed to scan all endpoints and reboot after? If you did you can run MBST tool again and attach the archive for our review once again.
