  1. I've run a test on my PC using Malwarebytes ip test link. Malwarebytes did the job and blocked the link. Working perfectly on the PC. I tried the same link on the Mac and it didn't block the link. This is what I got on the Mac running Malwarebytes Premium: "If You Are Able To Reach This Page It Means That IP Protection Is Disabled On Your Computer" Is there a different test link for a Mac?
  2. On the Malwarebytes for Mac GUI I see "Protection Update: Current". If the software is running by definition updates, where is the file located with the number and date of the definition update?
  3. First time running Malwarebytes (real time) on a Mac and Apple released updates today for macOS Mojave and Safari. Before updating the OS do I need to turn off the real time protection or keep it on? I'll be doing a clone / backup before updating. If I update now will I lose my Trial Malwarebytes? I still have 11 days on it and I have a paid version coming in the mail next week. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201222
  4. I'm running the Trial Version of Malwarebytes on my Mac and have 12 days left. I also set up my Malwarebytes Account a few weeks ago. I ordered Malwarebytes 1 year license from Newegg and I should recieve the Key Card before the Trial runs out. My question is: Do I register the keycard number in my Account first or do I put it on the Malwarebytes GUI first? Or does it make a difference?
  5. If I'm not mistaken, I don't believe there is "Lifetime Licenses" for Mac Computers. I know there were Lifetime Licenses for PC because I have 4 of them but not for Mac's
  6. I'm running MBAM Version 1.2.6 on my Mac. I want to run the latest version. How do I uninstall Version 1.2.6 from the Mac to upgrade? I see Version 3 has a uninstaller, can't find one for version 1.2.6. What do I need to do, just drag the app to the trash?
  7. I looked this product up in the Apple Store. Why are the customer ratings so high with this product?
  8. I don't know if this will happen on the next update but I do remember @treed the Mod and Mac Expert posting here may be in the near future MBAM for Mac will go real time or Automatic Scan.
  9. MBAM on a Mac is totally different than MBAM on Windows. Like they say a "Mac is in a totally different world". All Mac users have is launch MBAM (that will update MBAM), then run a scan. That's it. No Auto Scanning, No Real Time. ( But I hear they may be working on real time ) Update takes a second, if that and a scan takes me about 30 seconds.
  10. Hello MizzLily, Since you posted this in the Mac Forum, MBAM does not have a Pro Version for Mac at this time. Every time you enable (launch) MBAM it automatically updates.
  11. I just updated to Version 1.2.6.730. No problems here with the scan. About a 2 second pause on OSX. VSearch. Same as previous version which is normal.
  12. Yep, I knew something has happened. I'm back to 2 seconds instead of 15 as posted above. Version 1.2.5, Sig File 139
  13. That's what I was hoping your answer would be. Than all is normal and working good here, Thanks Thomas.
  14. Thomas I have the same problem here with the hang on Adware.Vsearch. It hangs for about 15 seconds. I had no problem with the previous Version. System snapshot PM to you.
  15. Just received the release of Version 1.2.5. All is working well. I have noticed when launching MBAM now there isn't an automatic drop-down on the GUI as on the previous Version. I guess the drop-down was for updating MBAM automatically at each launch. Is this normal now or am I missing the drop-down?
