  1. Hello I was just curious why we don't have to add Antivirus program exclusions within MBAM like we do with MBAM exclusions...
  2. Man, that's such a nasty one, don't feel alone, went a few rounds with that one also....
  3. Heres something you can read through that might clear up a few things.... http://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?s...mp;#entry162100
  4. Oh no, its definately not true. You were badly infected, these infections are nasty and when they get a hold of system files its a bad situation. Just be a patient there will be some Malwarebytes staff that will respond to this and help you..
  5. Well, the first rule of thumb, update your drivers, being sound in this case.....
  6. The reason I was asking about MSE is if you have defender installed and then install MSE it disables defender in favor of itself:) But I see this is not the case....
  7. What are you running for a firewall? And are you behind a router?
  8. You can put the numbers into Google....but this is the one I use: http://ip-address-lookup-v4.com/

  10. Okay, all I wanted to know, and no I'm not Corporate as of yet. And yes the license is definately removed. The hard drive was formatted and XP reinstalled without MBAM... Thanks!!
  11. And we all have seen what McAfee, Norton, and even AVG have become.... Although I think Norton has learned its lesson a little...
  12. Not really much to do here, it blocked an IP address either from the site or from a list of addresses from somebody thats hosting Malicious sites... Is the block showing up while you are surfing? Like the description said, if its popping up while the computer is sitting idle, then you have a problem. And you did a full scan which didn't come up with anything so.. I believe your okay...
  13. I would be interested in trying any beta release, don't know what your policy is in that area....
  14. Hello Just had a licensing question. This is on a tower that I built for a client, the computer became infected and I put a paid version of your product on it. The tower then changed hands and they tried to upgrade it to Windows 7, which was a failure/botched install. I wound up reinstalling XP but didn't install MBAM back on it again...I kinda got jerked around on the whole deal and was pretty much done with the whole mess... So is this license done for then, I had bought a batch of 4 licenses to use on clients computers.... Thanks!
  15. Okay, which one did you try? If you tried that Mailwasher program it has to "learn" which e-mail are spam. You have to teach it. The one I suggested you don't have to do that, it stops it on their end, there is no learning curve...
  16. No, MBAM won't stop the spam your getting. Wow, 3000 a day is alot alright. You might try this program: http://www.onlymyemail.com/ They have a 30 free trial, it does a great job, Leo Laporte has recommended this also....
  17. Hello Yes, mine took quite awhile to launch on my win 7 64 machine also. After I added the MBAM exclusions to Microsoft security essentials I changed the startup from Automatic(Delayed Start) to Automatic and everything was fine.
  18. Its probably not playing well with his Antivirus program. If you post back with which one hes using you can try and add some of the MBAM files to the exclusions area. Yeah, what he said:)
  19. You run the update from within the program, just click on the update tab up at the top and then select check for updates.
  20. Always run the update no matter what. There are updates released all the time for the program so whenever you run it always check first.
  21. You might check out this thread: http://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?showtopic=38725
  22. Go to windows update and download IE8 and see if that helps
  23. Yes, thanks alot for all your hard work!! Any word on when 1.45 might be ready?
