  1. greg (and others experiencing this issue): We believe we have taken steps to address this issue, and it should be pushed out in a bugfix release (1.46), hopefully within about 2 weeks. Thank you for your patience.
  2. The Cats, we have reproduced and corrected this problem internally. We will be publishing a bugfix release 1.46 as soon as possible that will incorporate it. Thank you for your help and for your patience.
  3. WaxusDeWeeval, we investigated this issue and cannot reproduce it. Are you sure you are using the most updated installer? Can you please compute the MD5 checksum of the installer (or a similar checksum) and post it here for us? If you need a web-based MD5 calculator, I found one here: http://www.webutils.pl/MD5_Calculator
  4. WaxusDeWeeval, we are still looking into this. I don't have an answer to your question yet but I will get back to you when I do.
  5. The Cats, I just wanted to let you know that we are still looking into this. I don't have an answer yet but I will get back to you as soon as I do.
  6. If you are a paid user, our integrated scheduler offers a great deal more functionality and a better interface.
  7. I cannot duplicate this issue. Were you running one of our 1.45 beta versions previously? Maybe a clean reinstall is needed: we had some file synchronization issues in the past.
  8. The Cats, please check your Private Messages. To anyone else with this issue, please see: http://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?s...mp;#entry225267
  9. Mike W, just use /update instead of /runupdate.
  10. MacLeod400, for quite some time we have supported Windows 2000 only with SP4 or higher. How much memory does the machine have, and how much more does it need?
  11. The former. The latter is a little difficult to navigate when restrictive firewalls are involved!
  12. HTTP Status Code 400 400 Bad Request The request contains bad syntax or cannot be fulfilled. I suspect a temporary server-side glitch of some sort! Please let us know if it reoccurs.
  13. Yes, the options are now in the interface under the Protection tab.
  14. The flash scan is supposed to be quicker than a Quick Scan. We principally introduced it for our paid users, who can trigger our Scheduler to run a flash scan after every database update. The idea of the flash scan is to give a quick-and-dirty picture of whether there is likely any malware at all on the system, and if there is, the user is recommended to follow up with a Quick Scan.
  15. I just tested and found this to work correctly: my auto-running application was blocked by our Protection Module. So there should be no further issues with realtime protection and removable drives (or dynamic drives, if you were one of the people who had previous issues with dynamic drives).
  16. We have improved protection for removable drives a great deal with this version (1.45), particularly on newer OSes (XP SP2+) that support removable drive filtering. I believe we should have no problems catching USB drive infections in realtime protection now.
  17. It scans all files as they are loaded for execution, and checks them for malware.
  18. If you are a paid user, set the Scheduler to perform regular updates, which will execute even if a limited user is logged-in.
  19. The Cats, we are looking into this and will get back to you as soon as we can.
  20. Buffalo, if you downloaded from download.com, try another mirror. They seem to be slow to update their files. Try this one: http://fileforum.betanews.com/detail/Malwa...re/1186760019/1
  21. Please redownload a new copy of the installer. This issue was fixed 12 hours ago. Thanks,
  22. I deleted your duplicate topic. We fixed this issue about 6 hours ago -- both the integrated updater and a fresh download should work now. Please let us know if you continue to have problems.
  23. Please try the update again. We believe we have fixed this issue. Thanks,
