  1. zonemaster60 - I tried your suggestion, uninstalled 1.62, ran mbam-clean.exe & mbam-clean-1.60.2.003.exe, ran regedit and verified removal of all malwarebytes entries, rebooted and re-verified registry removals, rebooted again and then installed a clean mban-setup-1.65.0.1400, downloaded from malwarebytes.org. Re-registered with my saved registry values for ID & KEY, rebooted.. New 1.65 did not come up "Enabled", after reboot, with File System protection and Web sitye blocking. Tray Icon "Gray", tried to enable File System protection and Web sitye blocking on Protection Tab, but no luck. Thanks for the suggestion. Remember I am running Windows 2000 Pro. The update to 1.65 ran okay on my XP SP2 system.
  2. If this is the "Formal Position" of the company, and then it should have been stated first thing in the "Change Log" for this version. All over the net, the update to 1.65 still shows support for Windows 2000: ie. Filehippo, CNet..... If the company drops support for 1.62 - I expect a refund on my license purchases...... I strongly suggest going back to the C++ complier that supports Windows 2000, or making a tree branch for paid licensed Windows 2000 users. One pair of angry Cats Mac and Cheese
  3. Yes, I know I am out of date, by this old system just keeps running and running. Took the update from 1.62.0.1300 to 1.65.0.1400 today. Install gave me a warning about needing to update OS, but I continued anyway. Reboot and MalwareBytes would not Enable, either File or Web blocking. Tested the update on my XP machine and all is okay. I ran malware-cleaner and re-install 1.62.0.1300, disables program updates. Back okay I hope the 1.65 product is not the END of your support for the Windows 2000 OS. The Cats - Mac and Cheese
  4. Did a manual update to 1.46 this afternoon and all seems okay. Scheduled a Daily Scan and hourly Update - Scan and Update ran and did not lock up my Windows 2000 PC. Scheduling is still in 24 hours format on Windows 2000 - that's okay with me. Thanks for everyones efforts at Malwarebytes.....
  5. See my post titled: No Start On box with Windows 2000 http://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?showtopic=45132
  6. I followed your instruction to the letter ( this make 8 times I have re-install 1.45). Install, Patched rebooted, reentered key and same problem. Notes: The Link to download from CNET is the bad file with size 5780kbytes - this file get the Cannot import mbam.dll error. I download the fixed one from link on Post from fileforumbetanews.com - it is 5781Kbyes in size and loads fine. Problem is still the same - did note that the time displayed in the "Start on" box is 24-hour clock, but when adding a Scan or Update the date/time does not appear in upper window "Start on" column.
  7. Applied Patch, restared my system and the "Start on" box was present, but... The was no AM/PM on the time. When I added an Update and Scan the upper window Scheduler did not display the time or date data on the items. I checked the Register and there was and entry for "SchedulerQueue" REG_MULTI_SZ with 4096, 30069122, 390565888, 1, 0 | 30069189, 627757055 12591108, 30069130, 2030827520, 1, 0 | 0, 0 I set it for 10:55 for am Update and 11:00 for an Scan - Nothing poped up BUT my machine LOCKed Up and I had to do a HARD (Reset Button) reboot. I have turned off "Start with Windows" I am willing to BETA test again - Hope I can help fine a soultion for Windows 2000. I checked my Vista Machine and the Scheduled Updates and Scans ran fine......
  8. Re-installed 1.45 three time, running mbam_clean, registry removal of malwarebytes entries, uninstall 1.45 Same issue no way to Schedule - Update (hourly) or Scan (daily); I will set each to run an see if anything happens.
  9. I cleaned my Windows 2000 system of v1.44 and reinstall. Still no "Start on" Box in Scheduling screen
  10. On Windows 2000 system there is no "Starting on" Box. Tested XP, Vista and Windows 7 - these have "Starting on" box Will try to completely remove ( all files and Registry entries ) as I had to do to get 1.44 to work on Windows 2000 following the upgrade from 1.43.
  11. I run Windows 2000, updated to version 1.44 and problem with 1.43 went away. Thanks MalwareBytes Teams. At first I did just and update, was not running protection, update okay, when I tried to activate protection got error 1073?, but rebooted and all was fine. I decided to uninstalled 1.44 and ran mbam_clean.exe just to do a fresh install for testing. Installed without error and is running fine. Thanks.......
  12. I'm running Windows 2000 (latest updates), on Thursday and Fridays was on 1.42 (updated from 1.41 - first week in December) , everything was fine. Took the update to 1.43 (scheduled) on Friday and I got the same problems in this post. I followed ALL of the instruction and cleaned and re-installed I got the same problem. My machine was clean and no known problems. I run Symantec Endpoint for AV. Did a download of mbamsetup on a Unix machine and burned it to a CD to bypass AV, still bad. I went back to 1.42 - everythings run fine, but have update turned off. mbam set to start with Windows.
  13. The domains of www.darlink.com & www.harmonybodyworks.com ( DNS to 74.220.207.138 ) are being blocked. These domains are hosted on HostMonster.com. I used http://www.spamhaus.org/sbl/ and it reported the "Domains" as okay. Your suggested site: http://hosts-file.net/ reported the Host IP address as bad. What can be done on this?
