    Ok it seems to me that, after having my computer open for exactly 10-11 minutes the 100% disk usage seems to go down. I don't really understand why. All my drivers are up to date so I am very confused

    To add, the mutliple instances of programs dont seem to have any disk usage although they have memory usage.

    I have a problem where my disk usage is constantly at 100%. It started out of nowhere. I started my computer as usual and i didn't at first notice anything different but suddenly my disk usage sky rocketed to 100% and stays there no matter what. Task manager shows no irregularities other than multiple instances of programs such as skype and google chrome running. I think I may be infected. I cant run. It took ages to run FarBar Security tool. I cant use programs normally either because of the disk usage. Addition.txt FRST.txt

    Hello, I was doing a random scan with adwcleaner and it detected PUP.Optional.Legacy but was unsuccessful cleaning it. Malwarebytes didn't detect anything. I have included the following txt files. Help would be appreciated. Addition.txt FRST.txt Adwcleaner.txt MBAM.txt

    Here is the fixlog and the screenshot. Before doing the fix and the screenshot I had reinstalled chrome the and dll file was still there but the modification date was different than before. Prior to the reinstall it was 5th of December, and now it is as seen on the screenshot. Fixlog.txt

    Ok, so here is the combofix file with careful following of the guide. The first time I ran it I didn't close all windows (chromes,skype). If needed I have also included the first combofix log (It is named combofix_firstScan). ComboFix.txt ComboFix_firstScan.txt

    Hello, I am seeking help with a question/problem. I was browsing the internet and noticed that my chrome was working slower than usual, so I decided to close it and start it up again. While restarting chrome I got an error that said something about Chrome_Elf dll missing, however chrome still restarted itself. I ran Malwarebytes to check for infection and noticed that on the first scan it scanned for less objectives than usual and was much faster with the scan. I restarted my computer and this time the scan took longer than usual and there was less objectives scanned. I have included FRST.txt, Addition.txt and the latest scan with Malwarebytes.     Ok, the computer is working well now, at least I am not noticing anything bad, so there should be no other issue. I really appreciate the help. Thank you!

    Ok, I reset Internet Explorer settings and Chrome settings. I dont have firefox installed on my computer. I dont use IE11 at all, but doesn't it also get automatic updates. Chrome looked good, I had all of my bookmarks. I ran tfc and cleaned the files, it did not ask me to restart my computer.

    I was doing scan with jrt and the logs it gave me said it couldnt delete some files in the temporary internet files folder. All of the files had a Content.IE5 on them. Could this maybe a sign of infection?

    I think i might be infected, and since last time I got good help I am going to try again. I got a pop-up that might have been malicious. Before this time there were no pop-ups from this particular place. Suspicion of an infection comes from the fact that Google Chrome is suddenly taking up more ram and works slowly.I've reinstalled Chrome and the problem still persists. Malwarebytes found nothing and avasts found nothing as well. I have included some Farbar text files. Thanks in advance. Addition.txt FRST.txt
