  2. I did the update but it still didn't show the right version. I reinstalled the whole program and now Malwarebytes shows the right version. Here is the log for the SecurityCheck. SecurityCheck.txt
  3. I have done the Malwarebytes scan. Here is the log for that. There didn't seem to be any detections. MBAM.txt
  4. There has been no more random volume resets. It seems to be working as normal. I very much thank you for your help.
  5. Here is the log file for adwcleaner. AdwCleaner[S00].txt
  6. Here is the Kaspersky log KasperskyLog.txt
  7. Hello, I have to apologize in the case of MSERT. I didn't realize that it will check the results themselves through AI. I got a bit worried because of the coincidental volume reset. Here is also the ESET log. ESET.txt
  8. Hello, I think I may be infected. I recently got a popup at a website. Today I noticed that my windows sound settings had reset. I did a MBAM scan and a MSERT scan. Malwarebytes found nothing but the msert scan found 2 files infected, however at completion it showed no files infected. I am a bit worried about this so I am asking for help. I have attached all the relevant files below. msert.log Addition.txt FRST.txt MBAM.txt
  9. Hello, I ran the tool and attached the log. Also it seems my missing hdd space is back. kprm-20230101230913.txt
  10. The computer seems to be running like it is supposed to be at the moment. I still havent gained the hdd space back yet but as mentioned since the files are windows files to do with backups im assuming it'll fix it self, and most importantly I haven't lost more space. Thank you very much for your help.
  11. Here is the log for SecurityCheck SecurityCheck.txt
  12. Here is the Microsoft Safety Scanner log. It seems that the winsxs folder is 8gb and system volume information is 11gb. They must have suddenly increased in size for some reason, I am assuming they will probably fix themselves after some time. msert.log
  13. Hello, here is the threat scan log. Also I am still missing 6gb of hdd space.I will also mention that the scan took longer than usual 3.05m while usually around 30s, mentioning just in case. MB_ThreatScan.txt
  14. Hello, thank you for the reply. Here is the fixlog. Fixlog.txt
  15. I forgot to mention but I also cant remove the malwarebytes folder in my program files. It is apparently open on another program.
  16. Hello, I am having odd issues with my computer. I tried to install malwarebytes and it gets stuck at 19%. I tried to use the cleanup program but and I received an error. I also get an error trying to install adwcleaner. Along with these I have abnormal idle temps for my computer. normally at 34-40 now at 48-50 and that is with apparent 0-10% load. Windows defender doesn't find anything. Maybe it's only a malwarebytes products problem but I find it too odd. I am also suddenly 6gb down in hdd space for no apparent reason. Addition.txt FRST.txt
  17. Hello, I did as advised and the message I got was OK.
  18. I have completed the scan and there were no errors shown on screen. It is close to being a 10 year old machine, although some of the parts have been changed, so a pretty good guess.
  19. I have ran the scan and attached the SecurityType.txt on the post. SecurityCheck.txt
  20. Hello, I have done the steps and included the fixlog as an attachment. Also I am sorry for the language mixup. It definitely seems that things are running as they should be. I would like to thank you for the help even though it wasn't malware related. It seems some of the text in the Fixlog is not in english even though I renamed FRST. If needed I can change the system language and run it again. Fixlog.txt
  21. I have done the steps in the first reply. My windows update settings show that I am up-to-date with updates, I did also notice that there was a driver update that I hadn't installed, however the problem does still persist. If there was nothing wrong in the logs other than windows issues I guess it must be some other problem.
  22. Hello, few days a go I noticed that some programs, mainly Google Chrome, are oddly slow. This noticably manifests as videos buffering for way longer than usual and websites loading slower than usual. Also my disk usage often times seems to near 100%, when with the same amount of programs open previously it didn't. Malwarebyres scan found nothing. I have posted the relevant attachments. Malwarebytes_Logs.txt Addition.txt FRST.txt
  23. It seems that the problem fixed itself after the roguekiller. RIght now when I boot the disk usage is normal. Thank you for your help
