  3. Hi Gunther & Welcome to the forums , I have analysed your dump files and below has been provided an analysis of the same for informative purposes :- Stack - The Synaptics Touchpad Driver is the one causing the problems according to the dump files. The Synaptics Driver version which you have installed dates to April 2015. Have you tried using an older Synaptics Touchpad driver? Also, I see that the BIOS is 6+ years old -BiosReleaseDate = 03/06/2009I checked Sony support website and there were no drivers available for Windows 8.1 which your system is running. Please search Google/Bing for the driver if additional information is needed. Most of the drivers are very old as well (Marked with //old). At this point of time, my best advice to you would be to test an older version of the Synaptics driver and if that does not work, I would strongly suggest you to downgrade to Windows 7. Let me know how it goes -Pranav
  4. Hi Celcius & Welcome to the forums , I have requested to move this topic to the BSOD Section of the forum. We should probably analyze the BSOD before saying anything. **Generally speaking** , 404 means that the server was not reachable. Maybe your internet is not working correctly? Also, kindly follow the below instructions and upload the ZIP File along with your next post so that the dump files could be analyzed - https://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?/topic/170037-blue-screen-of-death-bsod-posting-instructions-windows-10-81-8-7-vista/ Let us know in case of any problems -Pranav
  5. I have requested to move this topic to the BSOD section since it pains my heart not to see a single thread in that section -Pranav
