Hello oplease, and welcome to Malwarebytes.org It seems you may have a new variant of Dr Guard that is causing you problems for sure. If the self guide did not help you then you will have to follow the instructions below to have an expert get your computer fixed up. MBAM does not need an Internet connection to quarantine items it finds. I have cleaned many a systems without being connected to the Internet without any issues. With that said, please see below: We don't work on Malware removal in the general forums. Please print out, read and follow the directions here, skipping any steps you are unable to complete. Simple is better.... I understand it needs to change just a little to show the new features, but other than that, there is nothing wrong with the way it is now.

trace the offending program?
Firefox replied to therealex's topic in Malwarebytes for Windows Support Forum
Hello and Welcome to Malwarebytes..... To determine what is trying to access that site we would probably need more info... Do you run P2P software like Utorrent, Bittorrent, Limewire, or the like? Did you have any other software open when you got the notice? You can use software like wire shark to determine what software may be trying to access that IP. If you feel it is a false positive, you can post in False Positive Section so that they can check it. Hope this helps -
That is great, got to birds with one stone.... LOL If you two have any further questions don't hesitate to ask.

Error code 732 (12007,0)
Firefox replied to calibay's topic in Malwarebytes for Windows Support Forum
Without me actually seeing what the reg file did, I can not really comment on it. More than likely what it did is change the registry so that you can run exe files since the malware had changed the setting so that you could not. So it probably did make the change so you can run the installer. But like I said, I can not be for sure without the file you ran. -
Great, Glad to see its working now, remember to perform updates from time to time, as MBAM has updates up to five times a day sometimes......
