  1. Hello Dag, Just as a test, can you try disabling F-secure and see if that fixes the issue? I just want to confirm that based on what I am seeing in the logs. If it does work, then I know what the issue is and I can get this over to our team.
  2. Hello all, Thank you for the logs! I am getting this over to our team right now so they can review this. I will keep you guys posted of any updates I get on this.
  3. Hey Smog, I would choose other if I was to make that shield like you have done.
  4. Hello All, If you have the issue with trusteer and mbae, we will still want to see the logs for this to see some things on our side regarding the issue. If you could please collect the information from this link: https://forums.malwarebytes.org/topic/144403-readme-first-posts-here-need-to-include-mbae-logs/ Make sure you do the steps for FRST in number 5 as we want to see that information as well.

  6. Please put the information here once you have collected it.
  7. Hello All, Along with what I mentioned in the last post, we will want to see those logs as well to confirm a few things on our side. If you can, please follow the instructions here to grab the logs: https://forums.malwarebytes.org/topic/144403-readme-first-posts-here-need-to-include-mbae-logs/
  8. Hello Rtl434, I do understand your frustration with this. We do have some changes with trusteer that we want to make much like the known conflicts portion for it mentions. These should help with these issues. However, we were not able to get it into this version and will have to be in a future release. 1.09 fixes a lot of other issues which is why we wanted to get it out.
  9. Hello Garioch7: Do you mind getting the frst logs as well: 1: Please download FRST from the link below and save it to your desktop: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/farbar-recovery-scan-tool/ 2: Double-click the purple FRST icon to run the program. Click Yes when the disclaimer appears. 3: Click the Scan button 4: When the scan has finished, it will make 2 log files in the same directory the tool is run, FRST.txt and Addition.txt. Please attach both files in your reply. It looks like the protection it is blocking it is at the dynamic ant-heapspraying technique. I want to see what could be causing that to occur. You can disable also IE shield in mbae to continue browsing on IE as well until we can get this situated for you!
  10. Hello Everyone, If you have Trusteer and MBAE then please follow the instructions on our known issues and conflicts page: Trusteer Rapport may conflict with MBAE. As a workaround simply disable the ROP and malicious return address protections in MBAE's advanced settings to make Trusteer work alongside MBAE.
  11. Hello Dag, Can you please collect the logs from this post for me: https://forums.malwarebytes.org/topic/144403-readme-first-posts-here-need-to-include-mbae-logs/ Once you do, just post it here and I will review the logs for you!
  12. Hey Smog, It may not change much but it will apply the same protection as whatever profile you chose for it. So the same techniques will try to be applied to it. The reason why it and some other programs may not be on it is because we do not see exploits coming from those sources. If it is an avenue we see more people creating exploits for, we will create a shield for it and add it in the future.
  13. Hello Everyone, Can you please collect the logs found in this post here: https://forums.malwarebytes.org/topic/144403-readme-first-posts-here-need-to-include-mbae-logs/ Make sure you do step 5. to collect the FRST logs as well we will want to see that to know what is installed. @Shamshi-Adad It seems like in your case it is due to the dynamic anti-heapspraying technique. Disabling that will fix the issue or disabling the IE/edge shield will allow you to continue browsing. However, we would want to figure out why this is happening with these.
  14. The top top two are processes so it may be worth adding it under excluded processes. However, I would also put them in the excluded files portion since the scanner will still scan it. You should use the full path for this. I think defender you may not have to specify it but I would do it to be safe.
  15. Hello everyone, Can you please take a screenshot of the C:\Program Files (x86)\Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit and post it here? As well, if you have not tried a clean re-install I would recommend trying that next. Go ahead and remove the program from the un-install menu and once you do that, download the cleaning tool from this location: https://forums.malwarebytes.org/applications/core/interface/file/attachment.php?id=199258 Run the tool in there and reboot the computer. Once you do that, download the latest version again from this link: https://downloads.malwarebytes.org/file/mbae If that does not work after you install it, please let me know.
  16. Hello, No problem. I will submit that as a feature request to our team as well! Thank you,
  17. Hello Flashlight, 1. Currently the automatic update for anti-exploit is not turned on. We will be turning on the automatic updates soon so that is why you are not seeing it update to the new version. 2. I will bring this to our team for a feature request. 3. The release notes for the new build will be posted soon showing the new version and what has been changed. 4. The 'advanced options' have been configured by us to ensure you have the most protection without running into any issues with the software you are using. We do not recommend changing any of the settings unless it is something recommended by us. We constantly make changes to the protection layers and if they are disabled, they are disabled for a reason to help reduce the amount of false alerts you may get. In the mean time, if you would like the new version before we get the automatic updates rolled out, you can always find the latest version from this link: https://downloads.malwarebytes.org/file/mbae We always update that link with the latest release build of Anti-exploit for home. You can just take the installer and install it over the top.
  18. Hey Stevem, This is a build of the program we are planning on pushing out to the business side soon. That version I sent you is the same one that would be deployed from the management console as the paid version for the business side. Currently it won't be in the management console but if you have sccm or GPO, you can deploy that build over the top to fix any issues you have in your environment.
  19. Hello Stevem, Can you try installing this build over the top and see if it fixes the issue you are seeing? https://malwarebytes.box.com/s/tphhosnd427yb6z9wq27pkweaiq4w3pd
  20. Hello, Thank you for the logs. I wanted to ask some basic diagnostic questions just so I have all of the information. With the Norton you have installed, if you disable this does it also fix the issue? Also, if you don't have it enabled from the beginning does it cause the issue? Also, do you have the link to the software so I can test it? I have 3 monitors to test on my side to try and replicate the issue.
  21. Hello Siliconman01, I want to have you collect the logs for me. Can you try reproducing the issue again and once it does it, collect the logs from this post: https://forums.malwarebytes.org/topic/144403-readme-first-posts-here-need-to-include-mbae-logs/
  22. Hello ExpertNovice, No problem! If anything there may be something not liking the drivers which sometimes happens. If you have any anti-virus, I would always recommend adding these just to be safe: Please note that for 64bit installations, these files are located in Program Files (x86). C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit\mbae.exe C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit\mbae-svc.exe C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit\mbae-cli.exe
  23. Hello Stevem, I want to have you collect me the logs so I can look into this issue further. To do this: https://forums.malwarebytes.org/topic/144403-readme-first-posts-here-need-to-include-mbae-logs/
  24. Hello BigCol, No problem! It may have been an update that caused it. Please let me know if you run into this issue again!
  25. Hello BigCol, I want to test having you do a clean re-install of the product. I want to have to remove the program from the computer, and then use the clean tool found in this post: https://forums.malwarebytes.org/topic/136424-frequently-asked-questions/?page=2#comment-1011766 Once you do that, download the latest version from this link and install it again: https://downloads.malwarebytes.org/file/mbae Try that and let me know if the issue still persists.
