  3. Hi, --RogueKiller-- Download & SAVE to your Desktop Download RogueKiller Quit all programs that you may have started. Please disconnect any USB or external drives from the computer before you run this scan! For Vista or above, right-click the program file and select "Run as Administrator" Accept the user agreements. Execute the scan and wait until it has finished. If a Windows opens to explain what [PUM's] are, read about it. Click the RoguKiller icon on your taksbar to return to the report. Click open the Report Click Export TXT button Save the file as ReportRogue.txt Click the Remove button to delete the items in RED Click Finish and close the program. Locate the ReportRogue.txt file on your Desktop and copy/paste the contents in your next. If nothing is found then I suggest you reinstall discord https://discordapp.com/ Keep me posted.

  5. Hi, Try this again. Remove Chrome from your Computer and reinstall a fresh copy later. Before you remove Chrome Export your Bookmarks Chrome will export your bookmarks as a HTML file, which you can then import into another browser. Close your Chrome browser. Do NOT enable sync yet, as you need to perform another scan with Malwarebytes first in order to fix Chrome. Perform a new scan with Malwarebytes and let it delete what it has found. Reboot in case it asks to reboot. === If that fails look at the secont post. Foollow the instructions. Fix improperly configured security settings, or missing settings. Check for missing or corrupt files. Fix service registration is missing or corrupt. Fix system date and time aren’t correct. It doesn't look like they spent a lot of time on this tool, but it should do its job and help get answers to error codes and fix the basic Windows problems users encounter. Click Yes to accept any security warnings that may appear. Once the MBAM dashboard opens, on the right detail pane click on the word "Current" under the Scan Status to update the tool database. On the left menu pane click the Settings tab, and then select the Protection tab on the top. Under the Scan Options, turn on the button Scan for rootkits and Scan within archives. Click the Scan tab on the right detail pane, select Threat Scan and click the Start Scan button Note: The scan may take some time to finish, so please be patient. If potential threats are detected, ensure to checkmark all the listed items, and click the Quarantine Selected button. While still on the Scan tab, click the View Report button, and in the window that opens click the Export button, select Text file (*.txt), and save the log to your Desktop. The log can also be viewed by clicking the log to select it, then clicking the View Report button. Please post the log for my review. Note: If asked to restart the computer, please do so immediately. === Please download AdwCleaner by Xplode onto your Desktop. Close all open programs and internet browsers. You will need access to a spare PC and a USB flash drive that has not been in contact with the sick PC... I need to know first if you can enable the Recovery Environment... Open FRST on the compromised computer: copy/paste the following inside the text area of FRST. Once done, click on the Fix button. A file called fixlog.txt should appear on your desktop. Attach it in your next reply. Start:: CMD: bcdedit.exe /set {bootmgr} displaybootmenu yes CMD: bcdedit.exe /set {default} recoveryenabled yes End:: On completion, a message will come up saying that the fix has been completed and it'll open a log in Notepad Copy and paste its content in your next reply.   23. Hi, Try this. Follow the instructions on each step. Locate the CMD.EXE and run it as an Administrator. At the DOS prompt execute this command in bold. net stop wuauserv Renames the C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution folder to C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution.old , essentially clearing the Windows Update download cache so that it can start over. Restart the Windows Update service net start wuauserv Restart the computer normally. How is it now? <<<>>>
