  1. I don't think there is anyway to know how many are using MBAM. It's popular enough to have been cracked illegally, and had the site attacked via Ddos more than once. Totally crippled us when Download.com listed MBAM in the top ten to get. We moved to new servers strictly for download due to the huge demand for updates.
  2. What is the problem? You give no details at all.
  3. Hi read and follow the instructions here then post a log here . It's the infection giving you the problems not MBAM. Someone will be happy to help you.
  4. Zarina? Can't come up with crack free logs? I'll be closing this topic very soon to prevent others from posting into it.
  5. Hello franjo17 and welcome to Malwarebytes. Where are the rest of the logs requested in the instructions? I will need to see them to proceed.
  6. You need to tell PC Tools about it.
  7. Those lines are from your Panda log posted here http://www.malwarebytes.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=6392 and they are clearly showing keygens for software. If you can show the same logs you posted before with no editing and no cracks, warez or key gens we might be able to help you.
  8. Dave, your links go no where. The first link goes to a log in screen, I told you this once. The second link goes to a site that will validate code. Bad code does NOT mean a bad site. It means there is a problem in the sites code, period.
  9. My error message stopped also. I was getting a number 6 but figured it was access issues.
  10. Yes you need more than just two programs. As stated above a layered approach to protection is essential. All recommended programs are free and easy on system resources. You should install them as part of your protection arsenal. A firewall and antivirus are also essential. The Windows firewall in XP and Vista is not sufficient. Preform Windows Updates monthly on the second Tuesday or use automatic updates, and use your scanners weekly at the least. Always update before you scan. Keep other software known for vulnerabilities updated also. Use the Secunia Inspector free scan to identify risks in outdated versions. MBAM Avira Antivir Spybot Search & Destroy Be sure to use the immunize feature. SpywareBlaster from Javacool Software WinPatrol by BillPStudios SiteHound by FireTrust RogueRemover hpHosts The windows firewall is not sufficient to protect. It doesn't monitor outgoing traffic and this is a must. I use and recommend Online Armor Free You will also need at least one other scanning program Asquared or SuperAntiSpyware are good and there are several other excellent programs with free and paid versions. Read the overviews of what each program below does so you have an understanding of their importance and how to use.
  11. Your initial post was not changed. I split it off from the other topic because it is a completely different subject. If you and Dustin/Raid want to exchange bad sites that can be done any number of ways not on this forum. We do not specialize in taking down bad sites here. I don't know where you got that idea. Yes, we have several members capable of finding, and recognizing one, but this site is for MBAM, RogueRemover and Malwarebytes in general. You might want to look at forums that deal specifically in site blocking. hpHosts, is one. As for how long I have looked? I've got enough looking in to know how an IP address can be used. I've got enough looking in to know not to post malicious links on a public forum. You keep posting links to Validator site and it shows problems. They are not malicious necessarily that site is for validating site code period. It's for web developers to use to see where they have problems with the code in the site. This site might show problems or any other perfectly legitimate site, it doesn't mean there is anything malicious. If your really interested in learning security do some reading. I've said this to you before, Google is your friend, use it. Do some research and actually learn what your thinking your seeing. Don't expect people here to jump at your beck and call and investigate every site you can come up with that has some bad code.
  12. Look I don't know what your up to but your running an infected server with illegal software showing in your logs. Posting stuff from other machines also infected. Did they get that way from your server? Get that thing offline and get rid of your cracks and key gens. Those lines below show the keygens. 00385653 W32/Lineage.JUX.worm Virus/Worm No 0 Yes No E:\virusebi\idjx0e.zip[autorun.inf] 01895148 Malicious Packer SecRisk No 0 No No E:\Install\3D soft\Modo302\KEYGEN\XF-Modo301-KG.exe[E:\Install\3D soft\Modo302\KEYGEN\XF-Modo301-KG.exe][is152047.exe] 02940722 Trj/Downloader.MDW Virus/Trojan No 1 No No E:\Install\2D Soft\photomatix_pro_v3.rar[Photomatix Pro v3.0\Photomatix.Pro.v3.0.Keygen.exe] 03009106 W32/Xor-encoded.A Virus No 0 Yes No E:\virusebi\osama.pif.zip[stub.exe] All logs need to be posted in the reply not as attachments.
  13. Avira Antivir Spybot Search & Destroy Be sure to use the immunize feature. SpywareBlaster from Javacool Software WinPatrol by BillPStudios SiteHound by FireTrust RogueRemover hpHosts The windows firewall is not sufficient to protect. It doesn't monitor outgoing traffic and this is a must. I use and recommend Online Armor Free Also the full protection of MBAM is offered at a very low price For life in my signature. You will also need at least one other scanning program Asquared or SuperAntiSpyware are good and there are several other excellent programs with free and paid versions. Read the overviews of what each program below does so you have an understanding of their importance and how to use.
  14. Please post logs in the reply not attached. Update MBAM run quick scan post that log and a new HJT log please.
  15. It's not quarantinging the System32 folder, the infected items in the folder are being quarantined. Your log shows a rootkit. You need to notify all sensitive data entities immediately that your identity has been compromised; banks, credit cards etc. Consider doing a reformat to completely be sure the rootkit is gone. Otherwise seek assistance in the HJT forum . Read the instructions here http://www.malwarebytes.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=2936 Start your own topic in that forum.
  16. Hello and welcome to Malwarebytes. They are scheduled to update automatically. That is the same way antivirus programs work.
  17. I'm asking nosirrah what he wants next. Please be patient the site is having severe performance issues and is barley functioning.
  18. Since this issue is resolved I will close the thread to prevent others from posting into it. If you need assistance please start your own topic and someone will be happy to assist you. The fixes and advice in this thread are for this machine only. Do not apply to your machine. Please start a thread of your own and someone will be happy to help you.
  19. Hi jp_cent and welcome to Malwarebytes. Follow the instructions here http://www.malwarebytes.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=2936 Start your own topic in that forum. Post the requested logs in your reply not as an attachment and someone will be happy to help you. Please be patient, we are having severe site performance issues right now and I can barely make replies.
  20. I need you to follow the initial instructions you were given. Update MBAM run a quick scan, post that log. Get the proper version of HJT run a scan post that log.
  21. I pasted your question to nosirrah and that was what he said. I understand it that no MBAM does not use a proxy but will in the near future, do what you want in the corporate version that is being made. Hopefully Marcin will see this and and answer.
