"mbam-rules.exe" (latest version)
JeanInMontana replied to Jeff M's topic in Malwarebytes for Windows Support Forum
Depending on the day, MBAM can be updated up to 4 times. Why can't the PC connect? -
I'm not clear what your saying. You think the error message is from MBAM? What does that mean? Do you have MBAM installed?

Can't get microsoft updates/IE won't load
JeanInMontana replied to cweb's topic in Resolved Malware Removal Logs
Hi cweb and welcome to Malwarebytes. You need to run MBAM in normal boot after you update it again. You are running an outdated and unsafe version of Java. You need to uninstall it via Add/Remove programs and delete the program file also. Then go here Java Update and install the correct version for your system. Choose the offline installation. Your running an outdated and unsafe version of Adobe Acrobat Reader latest version. Or get the alternative faster lighter on resources Foxit PDF Reader and Editor Look at the Downloads tab here or Downloads if you don't want to see the features etc. Please update MBAM and run a quick scan in normal boot. Post that log and a new HJT log. -

Help! Trojan.Agent & Rogue.Installer
JeanInMontana replied to kevbuck's topic in Malwarebytes for Windows Support Forum
Please follow the instructions here http://www.malwarebytes.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=2936 and post the requested logs in a new topic you start. Researching CLSID's is tricky business for the inexperienced. I do not recommend you attempt to decide what is malware on your own. -

MBAM doesn't scan for cookies. Use Spybot Search & Destroy to remove and WinPatrol will block them and give other protections too. -
Well, maybe they just need to be part of the growing list of software causing MBAM problems. McAfee, ClamWin, and now BitDefender. A bit too coincidental for me.

All seems a bit too coincidental.

Manual Update Seems To Fast
JeanInMontana replied to Hank52's topic in Malwarebytes for Windows Support Forum
The updates are very fast, and should be even faster since they are now on their own server. Check the version numbers. If they change you got the update. -
Install Problem on MBAM Ver 1.28

Are you using McAfee by chance? -
Hello booster and welcome to Malwarebytes. Please read and follow these instructions http://www.malwarebytes.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=2936 and start your own thread in that forum. Someone will be happy to help you.
-
Since you can't seem to provide logs showing no cracked, warez or otherwise stolen software I will close this thread. Don't bother coming back here for help. If you had actually done as you said, you would be able to post those logs with no problems.

do i still have problems....i had zlob
JeanInMontana replied to txrroro's topic in Resolved Malware Removal Logs
Hello txrroro and welcome to Malwarebytes. Please move HJT to your main drive usually C:\ in it's own folder as it is now. Update MBAM and do a quick scan, make sure MBAM is also on C:\ . Post that log and a new HJT log from C:\. -
Hello Kim and welcome to Malwarebytes. Please do not attach possibly malicious files in the forums. You will need to update MBAM for anything to be relevant in your logs or removal. You can use the internal updater or get it from this site using the link in my signature or on the top of this page. Please also read the instructions here http://www.malwarebytes.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=2936 and post the Panda log.
