Malwarebytes hogging CPU

Please provide following details, so that someone may be able to assist you:

  • OS version including 32/64-bit and service packs
  • Installed Security Product(s) including Firewall and Program Versions
  • MBAM version (current 1.50.1.1100) (Free or Pro)
  • Definition version (current 6075)
  • How much Ram is installed

I know you have XP, and you also have McAfee Virusscan enterprise 8.5.0i, have you entered exceptions in your McAfee according to the instructions in the FAQ located Right HERE

Is this a work computer?

That version of McAfee is normally used in a business, as such if this is a business machine then you should contact Corporate Support and include the following.

  • Cleverbridge Order Reference Number:

  • Organization name:

  • Approved Contact name:
