MBAM_ERROR_Updating(12029.0, Win

Hello,

what does mean, from Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware 1.45 ?

- than i start MBAM, and i want to update, today came this up: MBAM_ERROR_Updating(12029.0, WinHTTpSendRequest)

- by a second try to run, and update, MBAM came this error not !

- i think that was the first, or the second time, that occurs that error, but i am not sure.

I use here Windows XP home, SP3, all updates after SP3, and MBAM 1.45 free.

What other security software do you have installed? (like what antivirus software and firewall?)

No Firewall, and only Kaspersky Internet Security 8.0.0.506, or called Kaspersky Security 2009, but disabled, and expired. I am must by me "urgent" a New Av-Programm. I know that is dangerous.

By uptdating MBAM, again now to 4043, came not this error.

If you do not have the error any longer, I probably would not worry about it now, but I would worry about replacing that expired Anti-Virus software.

  Also note that if using the paid version of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware with your antivirus in realtime that it is generally a good idea to exclude Malwarebytes' files from your antivirus to avoid conflicts. The FAQ contains examples of setting file exclusions for some known AV products.

MAM it would be so much easier if you went to My Controls then Edit Signature in Personal Profile to add your system information so that helpers could offer pertinent advice.

That's why I do it.
