Malwarebytes didnt detect trojan.generic.760777

Recommended Posts

Hi mig , Welcome to Malwarebytes forum

Spyware Terminater may have jumped on this first - I run Microsoft Security Essentials and this can (at times) catch and remove some infections prior to Malwarebytes getting its teeth into them - Other times I have needed Malwarebytes to remove the infection - I hope you updated and ran a manual Full Scan of Malwarebytes after this infection was found , just to be sure it was fully gone -

Thank You - B)

Hello , and welcome to Malwarebytes.org

Which one is best is very subjective - Avira and Avast both offer excellent choices for free use by a home user.

If you're still having signs of infection you should follow the advise below.

We don't work on Malware removal in the general forums.

Please print out, read and follow the directions here, skipping any steps you are unable to complete. Then post a NEW topic here.

One of the expert helpers there will give you one-on-one assistance when one becomes available.

After posting your new post make sure under options that you select Track this topic and choose one of the Email options so that you're alerted when someon has replied to your post.

Alternatively, as a paying customer, you can contact the help desk at support@malwarebytes.org
