Install paid over free OK?

Is it necessary to uninstall the free version to upgrade? I don't remember that I did, but I was asked the question.

No its not necessary, and actually the download for the free version and the paid version are the exact same thing.

no its not necessary, i did it myself, but if you are in doubt then by all means delete it, the install the paid version, its doesnt matter which way you do it

Hi JerryM -

The actual program is the same as the free version - You are only adding the protection unit to the same program and then it will also do the daily updates without you touching the program as well as doing daily scans without you calling it up (as well as IP protection) - You can still call up manual scans and updates if you wish but the licensed version usually takes over that routine for you -
