Skyhawk Posted December 2, 2009 ID:165133 Share Posted December 2, 2009 Sorry about the empty reply...hit the wrong key. On a related note...Do you know how often the manual database is updated. The latest day 11/16. I am one of those few people that started getting the error code 732 (0,0) with version 1.36. Up to that time I received it fine on both my computers and still can on the one with Vista. I came across the following link on some other site and found I could manually get an update. However the most recent one is 11/16.The insert link didn't seem to work so will just paste it here. http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam/database/mbam-rules.exeI went through the usual trouble shooting on the error code 732 issue so am stumped as to why it works on one computer but not another. Thanks for any insight on the frequency of the manual updates.
Root Admin AdvancedSetup Posted December 3, 2009 Root Admin ID:165400 Share Posted December 3, 2009 If you have really followed all the advice for this from the FAQ and you've also tried the clean removal then you might possibly be infected or have some other issue involved that is preventing the update. You should probably follow the directions below and someone will assist you with scanning your system for Malware that might be causing it.We don't work on Malware removal in the general forums. Skyhawk Posted December 3, 2009 ID:165682 Share Posted December 3, 2009 Sorry about the backstory, but how often is the manual updates brought up to date?
Root Admin AdvancedSetup Posted December 3, 2009 Root Admin ID:165808 Share Posted December 3, 2009 Currently not very often.
Firefox Posted December 3, 2009 ID:165816 Share Posted December 3, 2009 just curious, but why is it not updated that often? Is it not just as easy as uploading a new file to the manual update locations?
Root Admin AdvancedSetup Posted December 3, 2009 Root Admin ID:165820 Share Posted December 3, 2009 It's currently only digitally signed on one system and is done manually. We're looking at changing it in the future, but we're not there yet.
