baumer Posted December 24, 2007 ID:11140 Share Posted December 24, 2007 I do not know if my problem is in Vista or only in the program, but when launching this latest beta I have this error "Runtime error '339': Component 'COMCTL32.OCX' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered a file is missing or invalid". Thanks.------------------------------Sorry, I have resolved, it is enough to start with administrator rights, yet sorry.

nerrad Posted December 24, 2007 ID:11149 Share Posted December 24, 2007 I have the same problem as in post #7.I uninstalled version 0.80, then installed version 0.81When starting the program, I get a continuous barrage of error popups. I ended MBAM with task manager and uninstalled. The uninstallation wasn't very clean. It left 60+ invalid ActiveX/COM entries in the registry and a few more stray entries.I used RegSeeker to clean up the registry, then did a clean install of MBAM.Upon execution, I got the same barrage of error popups. I uninstalled, cleaned the registry again and will wait until these issues are addressed.Windows XP Pro, SP2 with all updates.

2Ton Posted December 24, 2007 ID:11152 Share Posted December 24, 2007 Installed well. No problems on my side. I did not clean the registry. Will uninstall and see how many entries were left behind and see if I will also experience the same problem encountered by the other guys.1) Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware Version 0.81Database version: 236Scan type: Quick ScanObjects scanned: 15638Time elapsed: 2 minute(s), 5 second(s)Memory Processes Infected: 0Memory Modules Infected: 0Registry Keys Infected: 0Registry Values Infected: 0Registry Data Items Infected: 0Folders Infected: 0Files Infected: 0Memory Processes Infected:(No malicious items detected)Memory Modules Infected:(No malicious items detected)Registry Keys Infected:(No malicious items detected)Registry Values Infected:(No malicious items detected)Registry Data Items Infected:(No malicious items detected)Folders Infected:(No malicious items detected)Files Infected:(No malicious items detected)2)Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware Version 0.81Database version: 236Scan type: Full Scan (C:\| )Objects scanned: 19202Time elapsed: 3 minute(s), 11 second(s)Memory Processes Infected: 0Memory Modules Infected: 0Registry Keys Infected: 0Registry Values Infected: 0Registry Data Items Infected: 0Folders Infected: 0Files Infected: 0Windows XP SP2 + all updates. Thanks
2Ton Posted December 24, 2007 ID:11153 Share Posted December 24, 2007 Uninstalled and reinstalled. No problems. Uninstalled cleanly. After I deleted the Malwarebytes folder in C:\Program Files and in Documents and Settings, I searched for left over entries of the program using Registry Seeker and Registrar Lite and no remnants of the program where found.Thanks.
