Since I try this game on holidays I play around to find clues. When adding Malwarebytes.exe to Play Mode. MB 5x crashes.

Follow these steps:

  1. Exit MB 5x from the system tray.
  2. Go to Notifications > Play Mode.
  3. Click on Add Item, and go to "C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes\Anti-Malware".
  4. Select Malwarebytes.exe and click Open.
  5. MB 5x Crashes.

I don't know if this is only when there is no other items. Or if there is more items. I have nothing in Play Mode.

Logs, I have looked for logs in the Windows Event Log. But Nothing is found.

Please try the following @unknownguy

Can you please do the following?

  • Download the Malwarebytes Support Tool
  • In your Downloads folder, open the mb-support-x.x.x.xxx.exe file
  • In the User Account Control pop-up window, click Yes to continue the installation
  • Run the MBST Support Tool
  • In the left navigation pane of the Malwarebytes Support Tool, click Advanced
  • In the Advanced Options, click the CLEAN button and follow the onscreen instructions to reinstall Malwarebytes
  • NOTE: Please have patience as it can take a while to remove and reinstall.
  • RESTART the computer once the reinstall has completed.

After the restart please do the following

  • Run the MBST Support Tool
  • In the left navigation pane of the Malwarebytes Support Tool, click Advanced
  • In the Advanced Options, click Gather Logs. A status diagram displays the tool is Getting logs from your machine
  • A zip file named mbst-grab-results.zip will be saved to your desktop, please upload that file on your next reply

Thank you
