NewTricks Posted December 15, 2023 Author ID:1605337 Share Posted December 15, 2023 New effort on the Lego puzzle with a serious sorting of greens and chartreuse~19 different hues of those alone. The blues should be equally nuanced. The reds are the smallest category, perhaps I can finish that soon.

Root Admin AdvancedSetup Posted December 15, 2023 Root Admin ID:1605431 Share Posted December 15, 2023 Massive work board. Good job We no longer have room for such a board, but really helps to keep a puzzle in something like that.
NewTricks Posted December 15, 2023 Author ID:1605435 Share Posted December 15, 2023 Thank you, it's a little tough. This is a damaged cork board re-purposed and measures 48 inches by 36. Unless you lived in a mansion, an ordinary home couldn't accomodate it. And if you lived in a mansion, I doubt you'd be doing puzzles. But maybe.... The perks of institutions-lots of room.

NewTricks Posted December 22, 2023 Author ID:1606918 Share Posted December 22, 2023 Puzzlers who live in crowded spaces can now have their 'cake & eat it too.' From boredpanda design ideas comes the table with hidden compartment.
Root Admin AdvancedSetup Posted December 23, 2023 Root Admin ID:1606940 Share Posted December 23, 2023 Nice, but cost and having color, pattern that matched ones' home would be needed too.

Root Admin AdvancedSetup Posted January 2 Root Admin ID:1608768 Share Posted January 2 Wow, color alone - yikes that looks to be a time intensive task I did a 65 piece puzzle on my phone while waiting for wife to finish shopping

NewTricks Posted January 5 Author ID:1609365 Share Posted January 5 Lego home stretch. The word "Lego" is printed on each piece, in different orientations, which helps with placement. Orchard Labrador was abandoned in the building, so I adopted it. This is a breeze with large pieces, a simple picture and low piece count. At last, FUN! As usual, myself and the "Master", work side by side. She however, is nearing completion of a 3000 piece work of art. I'm content to stay at the beginner level. NewTricks Posted January 10 Author ID:1610462 Share Posted January 10 Black labs have a special place in my heart because I was promised a hearing dog in the late 80's. This fell through. There's nothing stopping me from pursuing it now.

NewTricks Posted January 11 Author ID:1610829 Share Posted January 11 AdvancedSetup, you were not too far off with the next one, which is three gray wolves. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wolf. Those puppies were cuter though. This is relevant to our state school because the mascot name recently changed from "Braves" to "Gray Wolf." Lego 'Rainbow Bricks' is complete. 🎉👌⚡surprisingly, more enjoyable than anticipated. The last 100 pieces flew into place, vs the first 900. 🙃
