[ RESOLVED ] Location of log files

Does Malwarebytes have an actual .log file that is available to view? If so, where is the .log file located? I've looked in AppData, temporary directories, and the installation path and none have any .log files. Thanks in advance.

Log files are encrypted so you can not just open them up with notepad.... to view log files you can click on Scanner

Then click on the Reports Tab, from there you can View, Download, Export and Delete the reports

You can access the logs directly from a folder but they're stored in .json (JavaScript Object Notation) file format so it's typically easier to access via the method shown by @Firefox

 

• Anti-Exploit Logs: (these are encrypted so direct access won't be readable) C:\ProgramData\Malwarebytes\MBAMService\AeDetections
• Anti-Ransomware Logs: C:\ProgramData\Malwarebytes\MBAMService\ArwDetections
• Web Protection Logs: C:\ProgramData\Malwarebytes\MBAMService\MwacDetections
• Real-Time Protection Logs: C:\ProgramData\Malwarebytes\MBAMService\RtpDetections
• Scan Logs: C:\ProgramData\Malwarebytes\MBAMService\ScanResults
