Anti virus had Malwarebytes as trojan

I was doing a Virus scan and it found this to be a trojan.

c:\ProgramData\malwarebytes'Antimailware\mbam-setup.exe

This is the first time my antivirus software has found this, could somebody tell me what is going on

What version of antivirus are you using?

I'm not Neal (obviously) but I'm having the same problem - one computer in my office was infected with Security Tool this morning and when I tried to install mbam.exe the AVG (free) antivirus told me it was infected with a trojan.

I wasn't sure if this was part of the issues caused by Security Tool, as it seems to be very difficult to remove/deal with... but I am now trying to install mbam.exe on MY computer and getting the same trojan warning from AVG - it says the file is infected with Trojan Horse PSW.Banker5.ZOY

Ah... I see in the other thread that it was fixed with an AVG update... that's good, I was afraid this meant I was also infected by Security Tool.

Just a note that MBAM is not free for use in an Office. Using the product in an office situation is in violation of the End User License Agreement.

If you want to use the product in an business you need to purchase an appropriate license for use.
