NDISRD Trojan

Hi,

Malwarebytes reports a trojan in a registry key. log below. if i remove it then I cannot access the internet! Any help ,appreciated.

Hi and welcome to Malwarebytes.

Download DDS by sUBs and save it to your Desktop.

Double-click on the DDS icon and let the scan run. When it has run two logs will be produced, please post the one that is not minimized.

Also, please get a developer's log from MBAM (see this topic: http://www.malwarebytes.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=3228 ).

Hi,

The entry MBAM is identifying is malware, but there is a file associated that isn't being killed.

Please visit this webpage for instructions for running ComboFix:

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/combofix/how-to-use-combofix

  • When the tool is finished, it will produce a report for you.
  • Please post the C:\ComboFix.txt along with a new HijackThis log so we may continue cleaning the system.

Hi nightmare. I ran the combofix andf I attach the logh. However that has completely disabled my internet again and I get a pop up window when I try to repair with the attached message network error message. I ran a malwarebytes scan and thre trojan is not reported. So back to square 1!

I am sending this from another machine because the combofix has effectively removed my network access.

I also paste the hijack this log file. Thanks for your help

Hi guys is there anybody who can give me an answer yet. I really need this PC up and running again.

The internet connection is still out and I hjave noidea how to restore it after the programs I ran above.

Gettiung desperate cos I go away tomorrow for 5 days and I have to access my PC remotely to do my job!

Hi,

Click on START and type in CMD in the Search bar. When CMD.EXE comes up in the list Right click over it and choose Run As Admin.

Then while in the DOS console type each of the following exactly as shown and then press the ENTER key one by one

NETSH FIREWALL RESET

NETSH int ip reset c:\resetlog.txt

NETSH winsock reset catalog

Then restart the computer and see if networking is working again.

If not, do this:

Please go to VirusTotal, and upload the following files for analysis:

c:\qoobox\quarantine\c\windows\system32\drivers\ndisrd.sys
