Does Game hack virus infecting all Installers on my computer ?

Recommended Posts

Hello !

Few weeks ago, I downloaded and tested a PUBG Game hack tool. After tested I removed that file. While testing, It asked me to disable your antivirus. So, I did and ran that file. Later, I removed that file and did a full scan and remove all malwares.

last night, I downloaded Blender from their official site and opened that installed. Malwarebytes didn't gave any warning . But, Windows 10 showed this popup (See attachment). I installed anyway.

Later, I posted this issue on a Blender Facebook group. One guy replied this.

It says Publisher is "Stitching Blender Foundation" It should say the publisher is "Blender Foundation" You might have a hacked version.

Later, same guy commented this.

Actually after a bit of research on the "Stitched Blender Foundation" It looks like you may have already had a virus on your computer that attached itself to your install file

Again, I scanned the system with malwarebytes. No detection. Should I worry now ?
