Hung during cleaning 7.4.0

I am running AdwcleanAdwCleaner.ziper 7.4 also and it is hung up.  I am attaching the zip file.

In addition to the information above, I would also suggest restarting the computer and trying the scan again as this will often eliminate the freeze/hang issue during cleanup according to other reports of this issue.

I tried 7.4.0 twice and it hung both times.  I then restarted my machine and tried again, it completed very quickly (the zip file I attached is from the first hang).  Just downloaded 7.4.1 and will run that just to see what happens.

Note that the beta 7.4.1 still displays the old version number in the UI, but it's expected.

I ran the 7.4.1 beta and it worked fine.  Compressed the Adwcleaner folder and tried to attach to my reply.  It was 998mb and too large.  I renamed the folder to AdwcleanerOLD, rebooted and ran the beta again.  It worked quickly and I attached the zipped file here.

I am having the same 7.4.0 hang issue so as i saw from a request from FTux33 (did i get the name right), i downloaded the process monitor and am trying to send it toyou but the .PML file type is not allowed.

If someone could tell me how to get you the file you requested, maybe we can clear all this up

You can also shrink the .PML file considerably to reduce the time and bandwidth required to upload it by compressing it into a ZIP file.  To do so, right-click on the .PML file and hover your mouse over Send to and select Compressed (zipped) folder and once it completes you should now have a ZIP archive by the same name as the .PML file in the same location.  Just upload the .ZIP file you just created to the link provided above by fr33tux.
