I immediately closed the window and ran Avast, MWB, and Hitman Pro. They didn’t find anything. I then went to various web sites and none of my passwords would work. I tried it on a different computer, and the same thing. However, the passwords worked on my iPhone and iPad. On my main computer, I uninstalled Avast. I installed Bitdefender and Adwcleaner and ran them. They also found nothing. I called my brother who works in IT but lives in another state. He logged into my computer remotely and looked around. He said he couldn’t find anything. He opened up notepad and typed in a user name and password. He had me do the same. The passwords then worked for the various web sites except for Instagram. I always get Suspicious Activity Log In Attempt. I have to enter my email for security code and reset my password every time I want to log back in. Even though nothing was found, I want to know why my passwords wouldn’t work on two different computers. I’m paranoid about this because I bank, shop, and pay bills online. If using Firefox check your password for Instagram or Facebook.https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/password-manager-remember-delete-change-and-import It it has been changed and you cannot get to Instagram I suggest you check with them. By getting the Windows popup, it did something to my computer to make it not recognize my user name and password on certain web sites. I never store my passwords on FF.
