Please help me remove PUP

Your logs are clean.

This could be a Syncing issue?

Are you Syncing Chrome with other devices?
To remove it you will have to reset the Sync in Chrome.

Read this article and proceed.

If you have removed the Sync do not re-sync immediately.

Restart the computer normally.

Let me know if the problem persists.

If all is well then I will tell you to re-sync if this is what you want.

Thanks for the reply but after doing the steps you advised the PUP was still there.

However, I did finally manage to remove it by going to 'manage search engines' and removing the 'ask jeeves' option which the PUP referred to in the scan.

Once this was removed I ran the scan again and the PUP had gone.  Hopefully you can pass this advice onto others who maybe having the same issue.
