Two Problems

Hi, folks - 

I'm running into two problems:

1) I'm getting repeated notifications that real-time protection is turned off, but when I try to enable it (Settings > Protection > Web Protection), it just says "Starting..." and never seems to actually start.

2) Recent threat scans take about 2 seconds and don't actually scan any files. This feels wrong. :-)

Can you try installing the latest 3.2.2.2018 over your existing product and let me know if that worked.

Just download the latest installer from : https://downloads.malwarebytes.org/file/mb3

Run the installer on top of your existing product. No need to uninstall

Thank you so much for replying. I ran the installer as you suggested, then restarted my PC when prompted.  Unfortunately, it looks like the installer removed Malwarebytes from my system, which is not usually what happens when I install software. :-)  Any ideas?

Looks like that took care of both problems - thanks a bunch for your help. One question: why did I need to manually apply this particular update?  Usually, I get a notification when there's an update.
