Latest MB3 component 1.0.160 Question

Last Friday a new component package was announced, as described in the title of this thread.  

I still have component packet version 1.0.141 and have not received the update yet although I have the automatic updates on.  When I try manually to update it, the message is: no updates are available.  Are the updates being spaced out slowly or could there be some other reason as to why I haven't received the newest component one yet?  TIA

Yes.  Typically, most updates are throttled out in a randomized lottery fashion from Malwarebytes' servers.

At any time though, the current MB3 release may be manually downloaded from https://downloads.malwarebytes.com/file/mb3 and installed over-the-top of your present version.

That is what I thought..  I'll give it a wait for a week to 10 days or so to see if it updates on its own.  If it does not, I'll install the latest on top of my current version.  Thanks 1PW.

There is no best way to determine how long you need to wait to get the latest CU update 1.0.160.

It could be 1 day or even a few weeks depending on the metering. I would recommend you to manually download the latest build, if you don't see the update in a few days.

Just a moment ago I manually clicked to *install application updates* for component  1.0.160 and it updated.  Thanks nikhils and 1PW.
