MBARW blocks loading of MS App games

Hello dbreeze:

Please create the following files for developer analysis:

Create a ZIP file of the directory C:\ProgramData\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware\.

Create another ZIP file of the directory C:\ProgramData\Malwarebytes\MBAMService\logs\.

Please attach the above zipped files to your next reply and then do a conventional Windows uninstall & reinstall of Beta 2, MBARW 0.9.5.304 and include the status of the system's issue in your next reply.

Thank you.

Please take the time to read our update post on Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware and the False Positives issues. This post also goes into detail about what to expect for BETA 3 update which will fix a lot of the reported issues. Thanks!

Thanks Decrypterfixer; have read said post and have a question to clarify one point:

In a few days Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware will auto-update to beta3 with a new FP control mechanism and resume normal ransomware detections.

We will announce beta3 in this forum when it is released and ready to download.

Thank you all for your on-going help in fine-tuning this new technology!

Do we download and reinstall or just allow the auto-update to happen?   Confused here ....

Have viewed the current logs and there is nothing recorded to show the MS App snag in the log (no activity at that time frame recorded).  If you still need the logs / arw files please let me know.  I would think that the best course of action, however, would be to handle the FP issues first and then look at the system impact issues later (this is most likely an HTTP scanning issue from the feel of things).
