[SOLVED] Google Chrome Slow (not MBAE)

Since installing Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit on my computer and activating the shield for Google Chrome, I've noticed some strange behavior with it. Whenever my computer is running and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware is not scanning, it works just fine, but I've noticed that whenever MBAM is running a scan, Google Chrome becomes very sluggish and often crashes. I started toying with deactivating and reactivating MBAE's exploit shield for Chrome, and the general pattern seems to be that Chrome works fine during a MBAM scan as long as the exploit shield is deactivated.

I forgot to include that I am running Windows 8.1 Pro 64 bit and I am running the recently released 64 bit version of Chrome.

Hi David, can you please attach a FRST log to see which versions of the different apps you are using and what other software is installed on your machine?

Pedro asked for a FRST log which is explained in # 5 of the link that I posted. I only see the MBAE logs attached in your above post, not the FRST log...

You may lock this post if you want. I have figured out what the problem was. The problem was not with MBAE, but with Chrome. I brought the issue up on the Google Chrome forums and everything was fine.
