Unable to download files- HijackThis Log

Please help me. I download files but when I go to the Downloads folder it says "the file or directory is corrupted or unreadable". I tried to use Hijack This Log and it says it saves the file but it can't find it?????

Do you have our Anti-Malware program installed?

Have you done a Quick scan with it ?

If so, kindly attach the scan log so that I can review.

 

Are you saying that the main problem is that you cant download files ?

What kinds of files do you mean?   and from where ?

I'd like to have a good overall description of the main problem and what types of malware you suspect.

 

NOTE: Please do not use HijackThis as it is outdated and in any event we hardly use that tool these days.

 

Questions for you:  What is the version of Windows running on this system?

Which antivirus program ?   Have you done a scan with it ?

 

Is Internet Explorer the browser you use ?

Do you have other / alternate browsers such as Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome?
